Event Overview: As an industry veteran of the
entertainment industry for over 20 years, I thought that I had seen
everything, but was I ever wrong! It's not often that I feel
the excitement and electricity of a show before it opens it doors,
but Lift Up Canada was one of those special
events. 1,400 children were given the
star treatment complete with a limo ride, a Hollywood style
entrance and a free movie premier that created an
unforgettable evening. The event was held at
Tinseltown and drew sports heros, celebrities, Vancouver elite and
Olympic mascots who came cheered the kids as they walked the red
carpet. Lift Up Canada gives disadvantaged children the hope,
inspiration and belief that has the power to change lives and build
a legacy through their ambassador program.
The organizers and producers chose ShowMax to produce the event
because we were the only company that offered a full, turnkey
solution. The technical side of the show featured:

I asked one of our technicians what he thought of the show and
he said that every on of the 1,400 kids that passed the tech area
were absolutely thrilled by this grand experience and he heard many
times that it was the best night of their lives.
