Overview: The producers of the Boobilious show
called upon ShowMax to look after their second annual event held at
the beautiful Sun Yet Sen Gardens. The goal of the event is
to raise money for Breast Cancer and it draws an elite group of
over 500 young and old Vancourites who look forward to enjoying an
evening of conversation, socializing and catching up with friends
in a lovely setting.
The almost doubled in size from the previous year with twice as
much lighting and video integration. This year we added an
entrance effect lighting package which included chinese lanterns to
welcome guests while they find their way down the cobble stone
corridor to the entrance. Upon entering the
Gardens, guests are treated to five bars, a VIP chill
area, main dance floor, a silent auction, and numerous small
rooms and courtyards. We used an extensive amount
of LED lighting that saved on power consumption because
the venue had limited electrical. Trees, plants, walls, rock
faces, bars and walkways were all illuminated creating a magical
evening of entertainment and fun.
