Goals: This year, the
Canadian Military wanted to add video to their annual event. They
once again came to ShowMax to make this a reality. There were a
number of challenges at this year's show including providing audio
for a full marching band, a rock band, presentations and background
music for one of the largest ballrooms in the city. The Xmax
speaker system performed beautifully and fill the entire ballroom
with just eight cabinets and the help of four JBL Eons for fill.
The lighting design called for increased coverage for the dance
floor and marching band as well as a backdrop for the stage
performances. The dual video screens was a big hit as was the live
eye footage. The entire show was captured on a time lapse for the
client which we will post on our site shortly. This is an excellent
advertising idea for future shows.
